Tatonka!

I really needed to get out of the house so I headed over to Elk Island Provincal park for a hike. I took the Hayburger trail and found myself around these guys.... Fortunately they were just as afraid of me as I was of them and they started to move off. They went up the trail so I had to turn around and try a different trail. Not the best pictures, but this is about as close as I dare come to a wild herd.

Capital City at night

Went out with a friend to

Strathearn drive last night to do a few night shots. It's a nice spot to get a good cityscape shot.

Pano Happy again

What the heck, a few more for good measure. All made with Autostitch and then cropped.

A neat utility

Don't have Photoshop and want to do a panorama shot? A friend of mine recommended a utility called Autostitch. It is made by Matthew Brown from UBC and can be found here:
The top image is the output from Autostitch and the bottom one is from Photoshop. The difference in quality is virtually nil. Just crop the black portion out of the autostitch file and you would have virtually the same thing. Neat utility, and you can download it for free. Thanks Paul.
