Have you seen the sunrise...

One of the things I love about photography is it allows me to appreciate simple things in life more. After watching the last MotoGP race of the year it was still dark outside, so I grabbed the gear and decided to go for a drive down some country service roads. Took some photos of the sun coming up in various locations. It was cold, but worth it.

Night shots

With racing virtually over I decided to something a bit different over the long weekend. The weather was rather nice last night so I ended up going to the legislature and doing a few shots. The blurred bridge photo is of the LRT passing.

2008 Cancer Fundraiser Race

I took an obscene amount of photos (2970) at the Cancer Fundraiser race at Alix.

I love Xtreme raceways in September. Clear skies, fall colours, and flying motocross bikes. It's a fast circuit with lots of air sections. With it raining the night before some of the lower sections were quite muddy which made it quiet interesting.
Motocross photos aren't a big seller for me, but for what its worth I posted a bunch on my selling gallery here (caution not dialup friendly):

I will be also adding a smaller gallery in my '2008 Events' page soon.

Because this is a fundraiser race, I am going to donate 50% of the proceeds of any sales to the Canadian Cancer Society.
